Juror Information
A list of qualified jurors is provided to the Municipal Court by the Wayne County Jury Commission. Jury service is for a period of two months. Prospective jurors can expect to be called one or two times during their two month tenure.
Trials are scheduled in Orrville on Tuesdays and in Wooster on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Jury trials in Municipal Court begin at 9:00 a.m. and normally finish in mid-afternoon of that same day.
The summons instructs potential jurors to call (330) 287-5657 after 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to the date for which they have been summoned. A recorded message will let them know if they must appear or if the trial has been cancelled.
